Armed robbery, Kirwan

Police are investigating after a man was robbed in Townsville.

A 23-year-old man was walking to his car in Golf Links Drive at Kirwan when he was approached by three men.

The men threatened the man with a knife and demanded he handover property. The man complied and the men then fled the scene with some of the man’s personal belongings.

Two of the men were described as Caucasian and in their late teens and the other man is described as Aboriginal in appearance and in his late teens.

The 23-year-old man was not physically injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed any suspicious activity or anyone with any information that may assist in their investigations to contact Policelink on 131 444 or to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
