The Gold Coast’s most iconic attraction has unveiled a $450,000 refurbishment of its Observation Deck and restaurant, revealing a new and improved dining and entertainment experience, complete with the best views the city has to offer.
SkyPoint, located at the top of the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, revealed its new-look Observation Deck and relaunched its cafe and bar, now called SkyPoint bistro + bar.
The new contemporary design was created by Brisbane based Daarc Architect and Interiors, who sought to redefine the Observation Deck to a chic, elegant and relaxed experience for both locals and visitors.
Guests can stroll around the deck taking in the 360-degree views of the Gold Coast, 230 metres above the ground, including an endless stretch of golden sand beaches and the green hills of the Gold Coast Hinterland.
SkyPoint bistro + bar provides unparalleled views of the ocean and hinterland by day, and city lights by night, with a raised seating area in the middle and comfortable lounge chairs on the lower level of the deck to maximise the views.
The refurbishment includes new furnishings, flooring, lighting, colour schemes and dining options.
SkyPoint bistro + bar will be launching an all new a la carte menu in time for summer and tastings plates which include mouth-watering tapas style dishes.
Live music by popular local artists can be enjoyed every Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
Visitors to SkyPoint can also enjoy the city skyline by night on Australia’s highest external building climb with all new Night Climbs launched in September 2017. Climb day or night from $75.
