A 16-year-old boy has been shot by police following an incident in Springfield.
Police were called to a disturbance at a residence in Danube Street just before 2.30pm.
The boy has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
An investigation of the incident will be conducted by the Ethical Standards Command.
