Update – Robbery, Mooloolaba

Police have released vision of a robbery at a licensed venue in Mooloolaba and are appealing for public assistance to identify a man involved.

On March 6 2018 at around 2am a man entered a licensed premises on Venning Street and demanded cash from a female staff member.

The man removed a quantity of money from two cash registers and took a number of bottles of alcohol prior to leaving the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.

Detectives believe a man depicted in the CCTV may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in appearance with a short afro style haircut, facial hair and was wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt with a “Puma” logo on the front, light coloured shorts and thongs.

Anyone who may recognise the man or know his whereabouts is urged to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
