Collie Futures Small Grants to unlock economic potential

The first round of the WA Government’s Collie Futures grants program has opened to drive economic growth and stimulate job creation in the South-West.

Through the Collie Futures Small Grants Program, organisations can apply for grants from $5,000 to $250,000 to support local opportunities in a range of industries.

The grants program provides opportunities for a wide range of potential projects where they can demonstrate an economic impact benefiting the Collie area.

A pool of up to $2 million is available over four years to support initiatives that generate employment opportunities, increase productivity, and expand or diversify business streams.

The grants will consider financial assistance for projects that support research and the development of new technologies, develop skills and capabilities, and foster co-investment.

The recently formed Collie Futures Economic Advisory Committee will be on hand to identify and consider the best projects for the Collie area.

Applications for the first round close at 5pm on Wednesday July 18, 2018.
