Businesses show support for Anzac Hill Precinct as the site for the National Aboriginal Art Gallery

The Alice Springs business community has come forward in its support of the Anzac Hill Precinct as the preferred site for the National Aboriginal Art Gallery, recognising the economic opportunities that the Gallery will create.

The Alice Springs local project team has engaged with close to 50 local businesses and has received several letters of support from business leaders in Alice Springs. These letters will be shared with the Alice Springs Town Council and included in the final consultation report.

The primary feedback received from the business community is that they want the Territory Government to deliver and invest in job creating projects that will support the Alice Springs economy. The National Aboriginal Art Gallery will deliver that through economic opportunities that will create flow-on effects for private investment.
